(1) The President shall appoint a Director-General for the Authority in accordance with article 195 of the Constitution.
(2) A person qualifies for appointment to the post of Director-General if that person
(a) is a person of proven integrity; and
(b) has a qualification and practical experience in the relevant field.
(3) The Director-General shall hold office in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the letter of appointment.
(4) The Director-General shall be removed from office for incapacity, malfeasance, and incompetence or for other stated reasons.
