A person who

(a) without reasonable excuse, refuses or fails to comply with a directive given under section 24, 25 or 26,

(b) furnishes information or makes a statement that is false or misleading in a material particular for the purposes of section 24, 25 or 26, or

(c) without reasonable excuse, obstructs or hinders the Commission or a person in the exercise of a power under section 24, 25 or 26 commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not less than one hundred and fifty penalty units and not more than five hundred penalty units or to a term of imprisonment of not less than one year and not more than three years or to both.
