A person who

(a) in promoting or assisting in promoting a game.

(b) in acting as banker of those who play, or

(c) in playing at, or in betting on an event, a game, sport pastime or exercise cheats or wins from another person or causes or procures a person to win from another person anything through fraud or defrauding by false pretences commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not less than two hundred penalty units or a term of imprisonment of not more than three years or both.
