(1) A member of the Electricity Market Oversight Panel who has an interest in a matter for consideration by the Electricity Market Oversight Panel shall disclose in writing the nature of that interest and unless the meeting otherwise directs, is disqualified from participating in the deliberations on and voting on that matter. 

(2) A member who contravenes subregulation (1) ceases to be a member.
