The Local Government Act, 1993 (Act 462) is amended

(a) in section 146 by the repeal of subsection (1);

(b) in the Eighth Schedule by the deletion of the following:

(i) Forestry Department;

(ii) office of the District Medical Officer of Health;

(ii) National Fire Service;

                     (iii) Department of Games and Wildlife
