(1) There is established by this Act a body corporate with perpetual succession to be known as the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority.

(2) Where there is a hindrance to the acquisition of property, the property may be acquired for the Authority under the State Property and Contracts Act, 1960 (C.A.6) or the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125). Authority Act, 2010 (3 The State Property and Contracts Act, 1960 (C. A. 4) or the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125) shall apply in relation to the acquisition with modifications that are necessary to provide the vesting of the property acquired in the Authority and for the cost of the acquisition to be defrayed by the Authority.
