(1) A District Assembly may charge fees for a license issued by or on behalf of the District Assembly, subject to guidelines in respect of the charging of fees for licenses, as may be prescribed by the Minister.

(2) Despite the provisions of any enactment to the contrary, any revenue from licenses issued to the economic operators listed in the Eighth Schedule shall be collected exclusively by or for a District Assembly.
