(1) There is hereby established by this Act a University to be known as the University of Education, Winneba.

(2) The University shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession. A common seal and may sue and be sued in its own name.

(3) The University comprises the Colleges of the University College of Education, Winneba at the commencement of this Act and such other colleges as may be determined by the University Council.
