 A person who

(a) carries on gaming or bets in a public place, or

(b) Plays a game or pretended game of chance at a table or with a card, coin, token or other article used as an instrument or means of betting or gaming which is not approved for betting and gaming by the Board, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not more than five hundred penalty units or a term of imprisonment of not more than two years or both.
