(1) The holder of a tourism enterprise licence has the right to confiscate and may sell property deposited or left with the licensee or on the premises of the licensee where the guest is indebted to the licensee for non-payment of accommodation, food or services used or consumed by the guest except that the sale shall not be made until the expiration of three months after the date the debt accrued and remains unpaid.

(2) The licensee shall retain an amount sufficient to cover the debt and expenses incurred in respect of the sale and shall pay to the guest on demand any surplus money.

(3) Lost and found items on the premises of the licensee may be sold by the licensee after three months’ notice is given to the guest in accordance with the particulars given by the guest in the register.
