A person who obstructs the Commissioner or an officer authorised by the Commissioner in the performance of his duties under this Act; assaults or refuses to grant access to his premises to the officer in the performance of his duties commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not less than ₵500,000 or more than ₵5 million or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
