(1) Where the Bank of Ghana is satisfied that a foreign supervisory institution has the obligation to protect the confidentiality of the information imparted, the Bank of Ghana may enter into an agreement or arrangement for coordination, cooperation, and the exchange of information with that foreign supervisory institution with responsibility to supervise banks or specilised institutions, financial institution, financial holding companies, or other similar institutions.

 (2) The Bank of Ghana may enter into an agreement or arrangement for coordination and the exchange of information with the institution responsible for deposit protection.
