(1) An owner or occupier of premises within a category speciﬁed in regulation 1 shall within twelve months after the entry into force of these Regulations apply to the Chief Fire Ofﬁcer for a ﬁre certiﬁcate.

(2) Subject to regulation 3, no owner or occupier shall use any premises for the purposes speciﬁed in regulation 1 unless the owner or occupier is in possession

(3) A ﬁre certiﬁcate shall be valid tor twelve months Item the date or issue and is subject to renewal for a fee provided in Schedule 4.
