Amateur radio service is a type of radio communication service used for interconnection, leisure-time activity, testing, and research. and are classified according to their output as follows:

(a) CLASS "A" stations, that is stations the output power of which does not exceed I 000 watts;

(b) CLASS "B" stations; that is, stations the output power of which does not exceed 250 watts; and

(c) CLASS "C" stations, that is, stations the output power of which does not exceed 100 watts.
