The Council of the Academy (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") shall be established as the governing body of the Academy.

The Council shall consist of:-

(a) the principal officers of the Academy, namely, the President and Vice-Presidents of the Academy, the secretary and treasurer of the Academy (hereinafter referred to respectively as the "President", "Vice-Presidents", "Secretary" and "Treasurer"); and

(b) not less than four nor more than six other persons elected by a General Meeting of Fellows of the Academy (hereinafter referred to as "a General Meeting of Fellows") from among the Fellows of the Academy.
