(1) A continuing guarantee given to a third person in respect of the transactions of a partnership is, in the absence of agreement to the contrary, revoked as to future transactions by a change in the constitution of the partnership.

(2) A continuing guarantee given to a partnership is not, in the absence of an agreement to the contrary, revoked by a change in the constitution of the partnership.
