Subject to the provisions of this Part of this Act, anybody corporate which,

(a) has or had an office or place of business in Ghana, or

(b) has assets situated in Ghana, may be wound up by way of official liquidation under this Act and all the provisions of Part I of this Act shall apply to such body corporate as if it were a company.
