(1) The Government Statistician, or any person authorised by him in writing, may within reasonable hours enter any premises for the discharge of his functions.

(2) Any person who hinders or obstructs the Government Statistician or any person duly authorised by him in the execution of any powers conferred by this section, commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ₵5,000.00 or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding twelve months or to both.
